Bryson Charitable Group has recently been appointed the new Warm Homes Scheme managers by the Department for Social Development, covering the Lurgan area.
The scheme has been refocused and will target people on low incomes who need help to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. In particular, the scheme will target householders in receipt of a qualifying benefit with no central heating, solid fuel heating, Economy 7 or Liquid Petroleum Gas heating.
Louise Magee, Referrals Manager with Bryson Charitable Group said, “The scheme provides a host of insulation and heating measures to eligible home owners and private rented tenants who are in receipt of a qualifying benefit. We can also offer households a free benefit entitlement check to make sure you are getting all the help you can, plus free energy advice to help you save money.”
Speaking after a meeting with Samuel Gardiner MLA for Upper Bann, Ms Magee added, “With winter fast approaching we would encourage anyone who would like further information in the area about the Warm Homes Scheme to call the single contact number - 0800 988 0559.”
