Bryson Energy manage and deliver the Warm Homes Scheme across thirteen Council areas including Fermanagh District Council. The Scheme is funded by the Department for Social Development and administered by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive.
Speaking of the Scheme, Phil Flanagan MLA said, “As we approach the winter months, the Warm Homes Scheme is particularly relevant. The Scheme plays a critical role in enabling people to enjoy warm, comfortable living conditions. I highly recommend the scheme and urge all those eligible to avail of the scheme and the free Benefit Entitlement Check.”
Since the Launch of Warm Homes in July 2009, the Scheme has provided insulation and heating measures to over 1000 households in the local Fermanagh area.
Nigel Brady, who hails from Fermanagh, explained how the insulation measures available under the scheme can reduce energy bills for clients, “The scheme provides insulation and heating measures to eligible home owners and private rented tenants who are in receipt of a qualifying benefit. Householders could save up to £135 annually, from having their homes well insulated. We can also offer a free benefit entitlement check to make sure you are getting all the help you can, plus free energy advice to help you save money.”
Mr Brady added, “We would encourage anyone who would like further information in the area about the Warm Homes Scheme to call the contact number 0800 988 0559, visit www.warm-homes.comor call into our offices in Fermanagh House.”
